Occasionally adorned with intriguing quartz intrusive exposures, this deposit was initially discovered by Toprock Namibia nearly two decades ago and has recently been revitalized with active mining operations.
The deposit reveals impressive plates ranging from 30 to 60 centimeters in thickness, extending up to 15 meters below the surface. Within this geological marvel, specific sections yield gem-quality green specimens, though the color spectrum may be somewhat narrower compared to other sections.
Watermelon Fluorite is celebrated for its striking and unique color combinations, reminiscent of a watermelon slice, and is known for its stability, making it a fantastic candidate for lapidary work.
